How do I add a contact?

The in-person handshake is the only way. Both of you open Nära and tap Handshake. Bring the phones close — after a few seconds both screens show "1 NEARBY / SHAKE TOGETHER". Hold the phones together and gently shake them in sync for about a second. Both screens bloom, and a verified conversation appears on both phones.

How do I block or report someone?

Open the conversation, tap the menu in the top-right corner, and choose Block or Report. Blocking immediately stops further messages from that contact. Reports reach us at our moderation inbox and are reviewed within 24 hours.

How do I delete a conversation?

From the same conversation menu: Clear removes the history on your side only; Delete removes the conversation for both people and cannot be undone.

How do I delete my account?

Settings → Delete Account. This removes your account record, contact edges, public keys, and push tokens. You can also email hello@air.city and we will do it for you.
